Exclusive Interview with Alabiens 21:2 (Who Recently Met LANCE!)

So what is Lance doing back on Castrovel, Lancers and Lancettes? Saving a scholar's reputation and work while showing his expert skills at defusing tense situations.

Today I'm bringing you the transcript of my interview with Alabiens 21:2 of the Qabarat University of Xenoarchaeology and Xenoanthropology, the Contemplative who made news in the Pact Worlds recently. Lance is credited with helping the university deal with the fallout of the situation as he pursues his work with the Starfinder Society.

[Q:] Hey, thanks so much for being here!
[Alabiens 21:2:] "Yes. It was not my choice, however the dean instructed me to, 'begin my apology tour somewhere harmless.' This seemed to match his intentions, given the low subscription numbers."

[Q:] (laugh) Uh, yeah, I guess so, I guess so!
[Alabiens 21:2:] "It is merely a conclusion based upon the metrics."

[Q:] So, anyway, let's get right to the important stuff. How amazing was it to meet Lance in person?
[Alabiens 21:2:] "I was not aware of who that elf was until after this interview was booked."

[Q:] But you are now?
[Alabiens 21:2:] "I do not understand how this is, 'the important stuff.' Can you please explain your logic?"

[Q:] Well...I mean, this is a blog dedicated to all things Lance Harker.
[Alabiens 21:2:] "Indeed. Very well, I accept that because this is your medium, that you dictate what is most important in the conversation. Well played, sir. Now, as to your initial question, because I was not aware of who Mr. Harker was, I felt no amazement."

[Q:] How about after meeting him? Didn't you say you found out you met the amazing artist afterward? I like alliteration.
[Alabiens 21:2:] "He is an entertainer, not an artist. Even once I learned his identity, I felt no amazement. However, I did become curious about the nature of the elf. I have since absorbed his body of work."

[Q:] And what is your favorite song? I love, "My Ears Point Only to You, Girl" myself.
[Alabiens 21:2:] "It does have a catchy beat. I believe I will concur with you rather than argue my first thought's merits."

[Q:] I bet you were going to say, "Beneath the Canopies of Castrovel, right?
[Alabiens 21:2:] "Indeed. I enjoy ballads."

[Q:] I just sort of figured it would have been a nod to your world.
[Alabiens 21:2:] "I had not considered that, actually."

[Q:] What about companions? Is Stella really as hot as she looked in those feeds last week?
[Alabiens 21:2:] "I believe I still need to discuss my apology."

[Q:] Actually, my producer AI is telling me we are out of time, any last words?
[Alabiens 21:2:] "I am contractually obligated to tell your audience, 'My words in public were only intended as a thought experiment inside of the academic community, not an endorsement of genocide. I am very sorry if I have offended anyone who misunderstood the nature of my lecture."
