Session 3 Recap
From Absalom Station to the Acreon.
The newly minted Starfinders accept a job from the Eoxian ambassador asked to mediate the Drift Rock dispute between the Hardscrabble Collective and Astral Extractions. The primary mission is to gather information on the status of the ship and asteroid. Additionally, he requested that the group retrieve cargo the Acreon had been transporting for the embassy.
In addition to providing access to a station security shuttle, the ambassador contracted a Vesk mercenary, Hammerfist, to give them additional support in case of combat.
Once away from the station and close to the vessel and Drift Rock, the crew are attacked by a light intercepter of unknown origin. After some trial and error, the crew are able to cause significant damage to the craft, which corkscrews away at high speed.
Once aboard Acreon the crew immediately encounters strange creatures identified as Akatas, hostile life from the Drift, and spots the corpse of a goblin scavenger. They attempt to secure the bridge, but are overwhelmed by several of the akatas, and close the creatures in as they explore the rest of the ship.
Locked in one of the crew staterooms are two more goblins, one of which is killed in battle. The other one, a fan of Lance's, surrenders and begins annoyingly accompanying the others.
By the end of the session, the majority of the ship has been searched and cleared except the port cargo bay and the bridge.
Five days have passed in total. Each character receives XXX exp, and will now be 2nd level.
